Aside from Real Estate investing, our Home Buying Manager Wende Rick has been broadcasting a popular weekly Lifestyle & Leisure radio show called “Weekends Around the Northwest” to numerous radio stations across Washington State over 25 years. Wende started at KOMO AM1000 the ABC Radio Affiliate in Seattle. She was known and heard as the voice of THE SEATLE SCOUT in morning drive with Larry Nelson for many years. Each week she shares her favorite resorts, restaurants, outdoor adventures and more. Her show “Weekends” is still on the air and in syndication. During this time Wende has also been a contributing editor with various magazines including Seattle Magazine as well as a regional travel author with a series called “Sweethearts’ Getaway Guide of the Northwest” with two editions in print.
In light of the travel industry virtually shutting down during the pandemic Wende was offered an amazing opportunity to transition from Radio to Real Estate as a Sr. Home Buying Manager with a local real estate investment company. This was a perfect fit as she always had a passion for real estate. Today, Wende happily combines both weekly radio broadcasts as well as buying homes.
